Estate agents vs insurance salesmen vs 2nd hand car salesmen

It is exceptionally trying dealing with estate agents. As a tenant, you’re not the agent’s client. When we moved out of the flat, the inventory checker said that we had left it in better condition than when we received the flat. RPI - the agent - is charging us for not leaving the fridge and freezer in brand new condition. The fridge and freezer were replaced at some point during our tenancy and were delivered to the flat brand new and spotless and the agents are holding us to that state. Obviously, through 6 months of use, the fridge won’t still be brand new. Maybe RPI needed to make more money off that property. Anyway, my experience with them wasn’t ideal and I wont’ be doing business with them again; anyway they’re based in Chertsey so it isn’t likely that our paths will cross in London again.
