PDF-fffing made easy
Ever wanted to convert a Microsoft document into a PDF easily? Macs do this easily enough, built into Office Mac is a function to save any Office document as a PDF. The downside to it is that you lose your live HTML links. However, getting a PDF made on a Windows platform has been an uphill battle. When I first contacted IT, they installed a program called PDF995 which works really well but doesn’t save the live links. And I need that live link saving function. After trialling numerous programs, I downloaded Open Office a couple of weeks ago and finally installed it and tried it today. And guess what - it works!!! I can now turn my Powerpoint presentations into PDFs and send them to the client with links that they can click on that take them to a live page online. Uber cool.
