Spanish dogs & Anton Martin

Outside a grocery store, tied to each other, waiting for their owner to arrive.

It was a Sunday and some of the smaller scale mom & pop stores were closed. I was walking from Puerto de Sol towards Anton Martin on my way to meet Milli when these photo opportunities presented themselves. The dogs - I always remember my dad telling me that once upon a time in Sydney, when he was a young apprentice who loved taking photos in his space time, he chanced upon a little old lady sitting on a park bench, her dog beside her looking longingly at the meat pie she was eating. Unfortunately that day, he didn’t have his camera with him for some reason and missed an opportnity.

Something tells me that this is actually cavier that I’m familiar with - the pricetag maybe.

I reached Anton Martin finally and took some photos while waiting for Milli. There are so many references to Anton Martin online - I don’t know if he’s an artist, a painter, if it’s simply a place….
