Paris, je t’aime

It’s been a month since my trip to Paris and I’m just beginning to get around to posting my photos up on Flickr . The first time I visited Paris I was ten and with my parents, wearing big pink glasses; my fave top was a bright pink and blue striped tee. Very 80s. My next trip was just a year later because my dad loved Paris and there’s so much to see in so little time.
Paris has a lot of meaning to me because it was my first trip abroad without my parents. The NUS Choir went to Tours for a competition. We weren’t good enough compared to the barrage of international choirs participating but the experience was simply fantastic!
This recent trip to Paris was really great because I got to practice my [very rusty] French. I could order food at restaurants without a problem and get basic directions from strangers. The best bit was indulging in small talk conversations with street vendors and actually being able to converse in French!
