Seriously tired

Sleeping cat, Lille.
I am seriously tired. Last night I stayed up till past one in order to speak to China. I was kept busy catching up on work emails and part watching The Butterfly Effect which was weird altogether and rather engaging. Not a movie you could watch over and over again like Connie & Carla (which I did watch over the weekend, again). My alarm rang at 6:30 but I didn’t actually get up till just before 7 - thank you for letting me sleep in a little though I did still get to work at about 8:30 which was a good thing because there was just so much to do once the inductions started.
I am currently so tired that I can’t think of anything fun or witty to say. The thought that I could have fone home and put my KitchenAid to the test is dead. As are my eyes, my brain. I feel like a zombie because I’m not actually sleepy, just tired. Exhausted.
Food is on its way. We hope. People are getting on each others’ nerves. Mothers are missing sons. I’m wondering if there will be cabs to get us home. Still, a little bit of food will do a world of good. Especially since it’s coming with a few bottles of wine which studio and creatives will definitely appreciate. Me? I’d like some almond cream - my favourite warm Chinese desserts are such a comfort food.
