Stylist: How to move on from setbacks
I picked up Stylist yesterday from Tottenham Court Road. I don’t manage to get it all the time these days but every time I see it, I puck it up. This week’s Life Coach made a lot if sense to me.
Focus on the positive. Buy yourself a notebook and write down all the positive things you can do now because you’re not in your previous situation.
Do something new. By embracing new hobbies and experiences, you will come into contact with new people and open yourself up to new possibilities.
Don the trainers and start getting physical, whether it’s going for a daily walk or signing up for a 10K run. Working tour body will help to free your mind.
Get a new perspective. Read “The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything” by Ken Robinson & Lou Aronica to help you see things in a different light.
Be inspired. Surround yourself with people, places and things that make you feel alive. This will help you to generate plenty of ideas for your new future.
