Sunshine and laundry in Cornwall

I love laundry on a washing line and it’s because there are a few things behind that simple act of drying. Firstly it indicates space. Space is such an expensive commodity in Central London as I’ve been finding out. It indicates a back garden. While I’m not big on gardens (I’m not a garden tending sort nor would I spend lots of time outside in the sun) it is nice for one or two barbecues in the summer hanging out with friends. Secondly hanging the laundry to dry means that it’s sunny and not rainy. I know I’ve already said that I’m not a sun worshipper but having the sun out does do wonders for one’s mood. It’s been rainy and miserable in London most of the week. And of course, anything against a beautiful blue sky makes me happy because the photos turn out much better!
