A photo shoot in Philly
I’m staying with Daniel in Philly and we went out to take some photos today around the neighbourhood. Daniel’s a writer and maybe one of these will be his biography photo in his book one day.

Far away
I really hate not being there. Not being there to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. Not being there to see my cousins grow up - my little-est cousin is so big now and he doesn’t know who I am. Some of my friends think it’s weird that I have my entire (paternal) family on Facebook but I love it. I’m so far away.

An evening with girlfriends
It was great catching up. It felt like a SATC night without the Monolos and Jimmy Choos. I was in track shoes (after having ruined my feet in Clarks ballets the preceeding 2 days) and Debbie had a cast on her foot. The Lower East Side is great for bars and everyone’s so friendly and chatty. It’s really nice.

I am really happy with these shots. It’s a real blessing that I’m able to work with Rana on these as make up is so important for a photo shoot and knowing how much to put on for the camera is always tricky!

Chiswick
I had no idea exactly how close to Chiswick I am, until I started running. Now my run takes me to Chiswick and back and my knowledge of the geography of the area is growing.
Yesterday, I went to Chiswick for a haircut. I’d allocated an hour to get there, not knowing how I was going to do that exactly but managing to find a bus. Chiswick is really nice - there’s a Villandry and...

Bought 5 peaches on Monday. 5 peaches are now gone. I must buy more before winter comes and there are no more peaches to be bought. I love peaches.
