A road trip to Woodbridge and a birthday...
What started out as a slightly dubious morning weather wise turned out to be a great day in out with early spring sunshine and fresh air. Great food at my friends’ bar & restaurant despite the vegetarian factor (one of my friend’s is vegetarian).
Lunch was at The Cross. A couple of friends gave up their day job and started this restaurant. It’s quite incredible....

Half & half pizza
This pizza dinner is a half & half because we were really tired after a long day’s work. Caring hurts too much
It’s that emotional attachment, that vested interest, that makes the sting of disappointment all that more painful. When you don’t care, it’s water off a duck’s back. I learnt this the hard way with a friend, now an acquaintance. Things were never the same after The Incident.
I find the same holds true for other situations that may not include relationships with people....
